Many opportunities for professional growth; supportive work environment and services very much focused on the needs of the individuals. Also, they just raised starting rates for direct care staff to $16/hour
Cons
Somewhat behind with adopting technology, but steps have been taken to improve in this area within the last year.
There’s a lot of downtime on the job depending on which site you work at. You’re given a lot of freedom & don’t have to worry about being micro managed.
Cons
The pay is horrible. You are overworked for little wages & there’s no room for growth. You’re find yourself often doing this outside of your job description & won’t get compensated. The job is unorganized & I often got mandated.
