      I had heard horror stories before I took the job, but I ignored them. Do NOT work in the corporate steve madden office. My manager had zero leadership skills, no compassion and a clear distorted sense of importance. I was poached from a cozy job and thrown to the wolves at Steve Madden. 0/10 would recommend. If the lime green aesthetic didn’t already deter anyone from engaging with this company, I hope this post helps do the trick. The office is not in LIC either, it’s in Sunnyside Queens - a generally unpleasant commute. Oh and HR is just as incompetent. They should work on their diversity and inclusion, as well. Do. Better.

      The overall experience was great. Got to meet all kinds of people, the team that I had worked with were all understanding and fun to work with which definitely made the work days more enjoyable.

      Cons

      The location that I had worked at had the stock room all the way on the 3 floor, so sometimes it was difficult to bring down orders and products.
