Pros
Stifel is a growing company with a stable history. Despite recent growth, it still has the feel of a small company. Help or answers are usually only a phone call away. Another plus, they did not get caught up in exotic investment instruments. That decision has put this little firm on much better footing than their larger rivals.
Cons
The massive expansion over the last couple years has left some of the sattelite offices out of touch with HQ processes. If you don't know who to call with questions, your search can be hit or miss. Duplication of work is a big risk.
