Pros

The office environment was pleasant - modern workspace, good location, and free drinks available for employees

Cons

The IT organization has gone through several restructurings, each one adding more complexity and uncertainty rather than clarity. Leadership within IT has been weak and inconsistent, lacking both technical direction and strategic vision. The ongoing shift toward a rigid enterprise IT model has slowed innovation and frustrated many teams. Additionally, the internal mandate to “bend the cost curve” often prioritized short-term savings over long-term engineering quality and staff morale.

Pros

+Some colleagues were pleasant and there was some nice activity and steep learning curve

Cons

-Management and real leadership non-existent. -Imagine you're being asked to go after a whole new market/country, and no one bothers to have at least ONE meeting to plan this. No tips, no experience sharing, no goals were given. I asked at some point what my goals were, and the manager invented them on the spot. He had no idea what my goals should be. -They fired me on the last day of my trial period. This came without any warnings, because they hadn't complained about the quality of my work. I suspect my base salary was a tad too high for their taste, and ESPECIALLY, I'm certain that they didn't want to share their bonus with me. They didn't give any reasons, just threw me out like a piece of garbage. -While there were some nice people, some "important" people were very rude. As in, ask them a technical question and you'll get an answer like: "you should already know this dummy, please don't ask stupid questions. Sit down, and shut up"

Pros

Free cereal and fruit. Some good employees which will probably also leave soon.

Cons

The technology is a shambles, no forward thinking at all and lots of people working themselves into key reliance roles and working people out that they don't agree with (or like). Performance management is utterly poor, usually done behind closed doors by higher powers with employees having no say to motivate for their performance. HR are so aligned with making the company successful that they'll go out of their way to sweep any issues under the carpet instead of dealing with them properly. Lots of heads of department and team leads are spineless "yes man" type of people and would rather say what people want to hear as opposed to what is realistic. Number one priority is doing everything cheap, and not well, so all work and hiring is moving to Eastern Europe and India.
