Pros

PTO if and when you could use it.

Cons

I would not recommend this place there is no growth if you're straight out of college maybe this is a start but if you have years of experience please pass this opportunity up. During the pandemic, I was considered an essential worker, meaning I would be on a rotation with another co-worker to reduce the risk of acquiring Covid. Which brought challenges. Core IT is a siloed group. They were not considered essential workers which means they never showed up to do anything that was their responsibility. They occasionally ask for help from other departments to do their part and called it team building which in fact was not true you were there to do their job. The CIO is a stressed individual, is it so important to be recognized as a leader only to fall apart. She Praises Core IT but forgets that other departments play critical roles as well. Management is a complete mess and micro-managed by the CIO. As I explained earlier there is no growth but they do play favorites so they will go about creating a role for an individual and then expect others to work hard to get to that level when it's obvious that they showed favoritism to that individual, and there have been several occasions of that instance. Please look at the posting listed on August 20, 2021, April 24, 2022, and finally June 23, 2022. You have been warned.
