Pros

Lower down in the chain, management is generally good and accommodating. Time off is respected as long as notice is given in advance. Will give decent raises. (If there is good work ethic) It actually feels like lower management cares. At least at the hotel, the core group of people feel like a family. Pretty good company benefits, whether through the company or the hotel.

Cons

Upper management does not seem to care about anyone below. They often ask for things to be done, without taking the impact on the employees into consideration. I order to get a good raise, it does have to be requested, they are not given even if work ethic is above and beyond. Yearly raises do not cover increases in cost of living.

Pros

Hospitality is always fun with lots of events and people and a beautiful corporate office.

Cons

Everyone’s compensation is at the bottom of the ranges that would be considered competitive. Profit over people.
