Pros

Stop & Shop is a good place to work if you are looking for a job with flexible working hours, an opportunity to advance to higher paying jobs and like working in a fast paced environment which allows you to deal with the public/

Cons

I would say that the biggest draw back at Stop & Shop is that there is not a feeling of being a team member. Most of the managers give little or no feedback to their employees. Perhaps its because there is a lot of turn over. there are times when you need help and get nothing from their management.

Pros

Meeting and working with (for the most part) nice people, doing your grocery shopping before or.after work, that's about all i can think of

Cons

Expect to be overworked and underpaid, especially if you enter the FT training, where you'll work even harder and longer hours for about the same pay rate. Once you get FT (it might take quire awhile) you can be transferred to other stores a long distance from where you live, with very little notice. Union will protect slasker's jobs once they get past their probation period. Customers keep getting ruder and ruder
