Flexible schedule, job security through the union. If you're in high school or college or something happens in your family where you need time off, then this job will work for you.

Cons

Low pay, favoritism by the management, no company growth, not enough staff up front, management doesn't do what they say they will do if an employee has a concern, and seniority is not recognized.

Pros

The company is in the food retail business, and people will always need to eat. Its a job. Nothing more.

Cons

Its a terrible place to work. If you are a manager and looking to come work for this company do yourself a favor and take my advice. Look somewhere else. You will not be appreciated. You will not feel fulfillment. You will not be rewarded. You will be expected to give up most of your personal life. You will be expected to run stores on a minimum of staff yet keep up high customer service standards. The corporate team will change their minds so much its impossible to keep up. The new corporate leaders took over at the end of 2014 and have destroyed the business. A business they did not build. The only vested interest they seem to have is to hire their buddies from failed operations such as A&P. i think every manager I know wishes they could find another place to work.
