Pros

1) Paycheck 2) Is almost all remote/work from home 3) They supply laptop, but I had to drive an hour and a half one way to get it and drop it off because they didn't offer to ship it to me. This was so I could start working that same day, even when a work agreement hadn't been signed. 4) Same level coworkers are very kind and supportive

Cons

1) Sets you up to fail from the onset 2) They do not trust their employees at all. This is mostly from the CEO and trickles down, making any employee at any level lower than C-Suite not just disadvantaged, but having no ability to self advocate. The constant accusal of not working eventually becomes a self fulfilling prophecy. 3) Lacks any strategies or plans to execute their goals - very disorganized and often chaotic 4) Starts off the employee/employer relationship very poorly, letting the employee know they are completely expendable and of little value from the offer letter, to the handbook, to the "orientation" with HR. 5) Demanding employee work before an employment agreement or contract has been mutually signed. 6) Doesn't inspire or promote dedication to work duties for employees 7) Management is either silent or responds irrelevantly to questions asked about duties or work requested, and does not provide support 8) Management does not provide priorities or even daily duties from the onset. 9) They grossly violate IC laws by treating headquarter IC's as hourly employee so they aren't required to provide benefits or pay into disability or Social Security. 10) As an IC, they make hours worked inconsistent and unreliable. They expect you to be at the computer for 8 hours a day on "stand by", but only allow for you to bill for hours you can show work for. I was not paid anywhere from 22 - 34 hours a week, even though I was on "stand by". They hire mostly part time employees for the same reason. 11) No respect for you as an employee, or even as a human being, who is doing them the honor spending your time to do work they want you to do.
