Pros

Great colleagues, and a steady pace work flow.

Cons

Upper management out of sync with the rest of the company. Playing coy with work cliques & work politics is the only route for internal promotions. Work ethic is non existent. Just learn new skills and keep your resume updated. I'll save you the hassle, trust me.

Pros

I have nothing nice to say about this company.

Cons

I’ve spent several months looking for another job that pertains to the field I studied in college. When I came across the Operations Leader in Training role offered by Stratix, I thought this would be the job for me. The job description emphasized how it was meant for new graduates with a bachelor’s degree that wanted to gain experience and learn about various supply chain operations, including inventory management, order picking etc. , and then transition to a leadership role within the company after the training program ended. When I started the job this week, I did the best I could to learn everything. This included scanning barcodes of inventory and inputting them into the ERP system, moving these products into their designated areas, and more tasks. Since I was only there for less than a week, it naturally took some time for me to get used to everything and learn these responsibilities. The supervisor that I worked under seemed to be patient and was willing to answer every question that I had. All went well, or so I thought. Yesterday, I was summoned to the HR manager’s desk with my supervisor to discuss with my performance during that week. They stated that since I was struggling to do the basic tasks, they felt like this position was not for me and then they let me go. Their excuse is that since this was a role meant to train someone to be a manager, they expected me to know every single thing right off the bat. This is insanely unprofessional and unfair because I’ve only been at the company for literally less than a week. It doesn’t make sense to fire someone when you haven’t given them enough time to learn how the company does their operations. The point of a training role is to gain experience. Firing someone after their first week for poor performance clearly illustrates dishonesty and and unprofessionalism. If you’re a new graduate coming out of college, or if you’re looking for a job in general, I would not apply to Stratix. They have no respect for your time whatsoever. I am now having continue looking for another job in this already difficult job market with even more caution.

Pros

Lots of work and lots of teammates to help you when you need it. Stratix has a lot of Fortune 500 customers in almost every vertical. Quarterly recognition meetings. Managers and VPs are great at giving praise and not taking all the credit for their worker’s work. Plenty of opportunities in the company to move up to different positions.

Cons

No Major Cons. Just pay could be a little better.
