Nothing can say is the best reason for someone to work at Strayer other than just to get experience.
Cons
favorites are the ones to get promoted its not a matter of what you know its all about who you know and how much you can brown nose. the company will not fire employees that screw up audits and mess up students financial aid they are too scared of law suits and paying unemployment. just unorganized all the way down from Corporate to campus level the pay is not comparable at all to other universities. The company is all about money and numbers. They do not care about the student or the type of student they enroll its all about how many students they can get. They constantly raise tuition, but do not offer students any career services or scholarships to complete their education. No career services available to students. Directors play favorites they transfer people from campus to campus, when people are about to get fired another Director saves them---the employee either gets demoted and keeps the same salary just to go to another campus and screw up that department at that campus. There are Directors and managers that are not professional and do not know how to talk to students, employees or managers. The company is just all about numbers and meeting quota. The hours are not flexible. No work to life balance. No incentives or bonuses to employees that make goals or quotas.
