Streamlyne is the perfect cautionary tale about the pitfalls of working in an IT startup. Many co-workers working for a "go-go" company in financial free fall. Not the place to enhance your professional career.
Cons
Streamlyne fosters an alpha male culture; more than 95% of it's staff are male coders, team leaders, and managers. In this environment, questions/alternative viewpoints are actively discouraged. The company lacks the resources, management strength, and business infrastructure needed to support employee development, quality software products, and its own stability in the research management systems industry. Typical workday: back-to-back video meetings, non stop messaging. Uninterrupted work hours started after 5:00 PM.
