      Meaningful work and good pay, but team alignment struggles

      Pros

      Stride/K12 offers a flexible schedule, good pay/benefits, and meaningful work helping schools and students. It fits my background in leadership, building strong relationships, and problem solving.

      Cons

      One challenge has been the lack of clear long-term vision and alignment across teams. At times, systems and communication feel fragmented or in isolation, which makes collaboration and follow-through more difficult.

      Pros

      Work/Life balance has never been better for me. I work with a great team and love my job.

      Cons

      I wish the policy for working outside the country had not changed, but this does not impact me personally.

      Best place I've ever worked.

      Pros

      Able to work around an employee's appointments. A very family friendly company that doesn't make you feel like you're going to get fired for taking care of your family. Encourages employees to take full advantage of and use all their PTO. Ability to work remote (some positions are fully remote). Offers continuing education opportunities. Tuition assistance for education related fields. There are definitely more pros than cons to Stride 💙

      Cons

      5 day work week is the only con I can think of, but that is pretty much standard in every field. That's the only con I can think of.
