Pros

Stryker's mission statement is incredibly easy to get behind You get to work with some of the best people in their fields (Former NFL, NASA, Military, etc.) Regularly receive cool stuff in the mail like shirts, bluetooth speakers, etc.

Cons

Depending on the quarterly schedule, the whole work/life aspect must be actively managed and protected because they'll take all they can get. Received a 20% raise switching companies.

Pros

This job is extremely rewarding in the work and the compensation. You truly have an impact on patient outcomes - good and bad. You serve as a consultant of sorts for orthopedic surgeons.

Cons

PTO is in some regard frowned upon. Wirh trauma, if your surgeons (customers) are on call you are also on call. As your clientele grows, you make more commission dollars but you work just about all the time. Lots of turnover because people don’t realize the work/stress along with being on call 24/7
