      Good Environment for Sales Rep

      Pros

      Great management team, fair policies. Nice amount of independence and little to no micromanaging the sales force. Good pay and benefits. I felt like my opinions and suggestions were heard and valued.

      Cons

      My division was acquired by stryker in 2009. I was surprised at how long the transition took to become a more integrated part of the company. The R&D portion of my division was slow and inadequate.

      Pros

      Cool life, nice people because they come through Gallup, Good office, good food.

      Cons

      Styrker India has no defined roles. It just wants billing (money) from the divisions and keeps adding people as long as they can mint money for Styker India. Stryker India is not Innovative and do what they're asked to do. I've been to Stryker divisions in the US and have seen a total difference in office environment and Innovation spirit. There's no learning path defined and i agree with the other review on Stryker - You can die as a developer all your life and nobody would notice. The Finance policies are disgusting. They don't care to save employee's money through alternate means life Sodexo passes , employee commute, office cabs (which would save them parking cost also!) etc. Stryker India is alive just because it gets cheap manpower for other Stryker global divisions. Most of the management has no vision for Stryker India.
