      HR needs overhaul, good company, bad location

      Pros

      Stryker culture is strong. Globalization of management is making this site stronger.

      Cons

      There is one HR manager for this site, which is sad, because of she had any competition, it would be known how bad she is to her boss. She is the worst HR person I have ever heard of; she brings drama to the organization, she says bad things about managers, and she creates a culture of hostility.

      Pros

      The energy and positivity here is second to none. Talented and driven individuals all around and making things happen. It doesn't seem to matter what division or department you are in, the focus and high-achievement ethic is prevalent.

      Cons

      Could be a bad fit for low energy, pessimistic individuals. Those looking for a simple 40 hour work week, every week will not be happy here.

      Pros

      The best reasons to work for Stryker is the people. I work with my best friends and they all put in 110% every day. I also am a fan of jeans Fridays and it may seem a small thing, but for me, it is huge! We also make a difference in peoples' lives. My mom just had knee surgery done last year and Stryker products were used. It is amazing knowing that her quality of life is better because of our products.

      Cons

      We have a culture that is hard working and we know that we are changing peoples' lives, so some might not fit with our culture. It is unique and not everyone would fit, but if you do, it is a great experience!
