      Pros

      Great products, great company mission, good compensation and general benefits. Wonderful local community in Kalamazoo with excellent schools and resources for families.

      Cons

      Work-life balance is nonexistent -- they will tell you what you want to hear during the recruiting process but be ready to make this organization the center of your life. Regardless of your abilities, your success here is defined by who you know. An earlier review states that at Stryker, "You're great ... until you're not." Couldn't put it any better. Upset the wrong person and you are done.

      Pros

      Stryker is a strong company with many divisions and products. Would have enjoyed being a direct employee instead of stuck in a distributor

      Cons

      Distributor RM Medical is a nightmare -commissions always changing -reps calling on surgeons behind each other back -terrible reputation around town. everyone knows the owners and cannot trust them!! Stryker Spine needs to be more innovative

      Pros

      They had good benefits and the coworkers at my direct facility were great as well.

      Cons

      It seemed a bit difficult when trying to move up or around in the company. It seemed like once they were comfortable with your performance at one site, they did not want to risk endangering the relationship with that facility by moving you around.
