This company seems to enjoy promoting generalists to mid level management position and expects them doing nothing but going to meetings and coming up their own initiatives that can never be executed since there are so few workers left. 2. Office politics becomes very destructive now. 3. Company only hires type A people, but doesn't care much about their skills and experiences. Even for internal promotions or switching job functions, there is no training to prepare you for the job, because the company believes ambition is the only thing needed to get jobs done. Then you will see whole bunch of very stressed clueless people trying to push other people to do their jobs and taking credits for themselves. 4.Quality issue. It might be another type A personality thing. But management is always willing to sacrifice quality for faster turn around time, because they want to see results quick. This is very scary because we are after all making medical devices.
