      Many great training opportunities Ability to move horizontally and vertically within the organization Many opportunities to gain experience within and outside of your area of responsibility

      Average to slightly below average compensation Lack of accountability to pre-market development teams for post market issues Meeting timelines trumps quality in many cases Post launch change control is very inefficient and stifles product improvements Work life balance must be sacrificed in order to meet deadlines

      Opportunity is there for hardworking, educated, go-get-em types....

      Cons

      Managers do not always know what they are doing. It's a good ol boys type network. So the guys who get in have a buddy who is already in....not always the most qualified. I am not saying that all fit this mold. This was my experience.

      Pros

      Good benefits, great work culture, challenging work, good learning, good opportunities for growth and development. Stryker has been profitable for decades.

      Cons

      There are not many cons to working at Stryker. The deadlines are on the aggressive side, which is not necessarily a con but the job can have pressure at times. We don't enough vending machines :P.
