Since Stryker bought Physio-Control moral has steadily gone down. Benefits took a huge hit. Health Care plan is now among the worst in the highly competitive Seattle Area. Management team had to fight last year not to have vacation benefits taken away. First they were taken away, then reinstated. R&D seems to be losing value within the company. "Sales Oriented Company", devaluing Engineering , guess who designs and creates the products you sell?

It is evident that Stryker cares about their external customer but their internal customer (a.k.a. employees) not so much. Doing what's right for the employee is usually not the first thing on their mind when instituting new policies. There are so many divisions that each division tends to operate in their own silo. Working there is a crap shoot. You could work for one division and leave at 5 everyday, have summer Fridays and wear jeans everyday but another you may not have summer Fridays, have to dress business professional and work 60-70 hours a week.
