      Work–life balance is largely a matter of luck and depends heavily on the team and manager.

      Cons

      In India, Stryker operates largely as a cost center with fixed budgeting per headcount. As a result, salary growth does not align with market standards. While the company positions itself strongly as a leading medtech organization, in India compensation decisions are constrained by strict cost limits, making meaningful salary increases difficult. Competitive pay appears to be limited to a small group within senior leadership or those closely aligned with management.

      Pros

      Good pay, first shift gets out early enough to do things after work, cafe with lots of food options, and yearly raises and bonuses.

      Cons

      It started out great, but management gave been making it harder to hit our numbers. Most of us can't take breaks anymore like we used to and have to work 8-10 hours a day with no break. People constantly complain about eachother and it feels very cliquey. Someone got promoted to a lead position right after she got a write-up for bullying, yet others never get promoted when they're qualified. Strange place and wish it would improve.
