      Good cause Decent benefits The structure of the organization is not bad. Some autonomy for outlying offices Ability to learn a lot in a short amount of time.

      Challenging to have supervisor distant Technology challenges abound for remote staff Unclear objectives at times Supervisor took credit for my efforts quite a bit Funding uncertain for some communities

      Pros

      The SCA management is very supportive and understanding, and the organization rewards loyalty well so there is plenty of room for advancement within the organization.

      Cons

      I can't really think of anything, sometimes the SCA can seem a bit disorganized because of the many program which are simultaneously running.

      For those seeking experience in this field, excellent opportunity. Great mission and chance to work with youth. Prior experience and leadership is a plus. Training is provided, but is not enough to fully develop necessary skills if you are entering with none.

      Cons

      Training is minimal, little control over placement on national crews for new leaders.
