Pros

Nothing good to share here

Cons

I debated for a while whether or not I wanted to write this review. I decided to follow through in the hopes that I would save folks from the same trap I walked into. I worked at Stuller for a few months before Covid hit. Covid was a convenient excuse for Stuller to axe anyone who: 1. Rubbed leadership/management the wrong way 2. Didn't fall in line politically 3. Was not part of the select inner circle/old guard. Working as part of their IT/digital team was an absolute nightmare. They will proudly proclaim they practice Agile methodology while they fail to implement even the most basic of best practices. The IT/digital team is a bizarre mix of waterfall practices with agile ceremonies sprinkled in. In other words, they are masters of 'Agile Theatre.' Leadership is obstinate, close-minded, and for the most part, inept. But wait, there's more! Their tech stack is outdated, knowledge is silo'd, promotions/titles are not merit-based (politics), and just about every IT/interpersonal nightmare in existence makes its home here. The only thing they can predict is what dates they will "not" go-live with a feature (they constantly miss projections). They even have an anachronistic view of remote work; their official policy is that they are not a "work from home" company -- even for IT. Not only this, they are also notoriously stingy with their compensation. All this being said, there are truly some great people that work here (with good hearts). The problem for the most part lies with the leadership team and select executive directors. If you are looking for a fun/dynamic environment with a chance to grow your skill set, look absolutely anywhere else. You will be far happier and make more money at any number of remote/local companies. If office politics, conflicts of interest, overbearing management, incompetent leadership, 90's software methodology, airport-level security anytime you want to enter/leave the building, and masochism excite you -- then sure, give Stuller a whirl. P.S. They make you take a PI assessment before your first interview. Don't worry, they'll ignore every insight that could be gleaned from said test. It's mostly just a formality for them to pretend they have some semblance of culture/empathy. Stay far away.
