Pros

Hours were flexible, at least before the schedule is made. The training is fairly thorough and the senior staff are fairly helpful. You get free food.

Cons

No one is ever willing to cover your shifts so remember to book time off well in advance. Closing the store is a horrible experience Most of the people working there couldn't care less. Worst case scenario you end up working with someone who doesn't care and is incompetent (yeah some people can't even handle a job at subway. What a sad world) You're going to want to kill yourself after working a 10 hour shift.

Pros

This was my first leadership role so I thank subway for the opportunity. Got one free subway per shift. high management would often come in to check the hygiene of the shop, and to ensure all food was kept safe for people to eat. Very strict rules. Flexible timetable, was able to work less shifts or pick up more shifts if I wanted to.

Cons

No employee in my shop was on full time rates. We were always left as casual which meant we never received any benefits like sick leave and holiday pay.
