Pros

The biggest pro working at Suffolk has been the people that I work with on a daily basis. Everyone is supportive of one another and work towards completion of goals as a team, opposed to individually. Aside from the work environment, the company has been very flexible with PTO and personal obligations allowing for a life outside of work which has been greatly appreciated. Opportunity for advancement is abundant.

Cons

Yearly bonus structure is less than desirable, seems as if the industry standard is not always taken into consideration. As innovative as this company is in trying to advance the construction industry with technology and methodology, ultimately good people are the ones who will get the job done.

Great opportunities to work on landmark projects. Good SOPs and passionate people.

Cons

Sometimes it feels like corporate forgets we’re a construction company. They day after an hour long call celebrating all these new ventures, we find out half the already short staffed and overworked project team isn’t getting any bonus this year. Preaching diversity and inclusion is a joke if you look just at the make up of the c suite and operations execs.
