Pros

You get a foot into the door with this huge industry. A lot of people are willing to help and show you the way. Very vibrant personalities

Cons

No work life balance. Upper management takes diversity lightly and often makes jokes. You feel like you are being judged even if you take a sick day off. Company doesnt feel like its the employees, everyone knows who the big boss is and it takes away from the feeling that you are working for something that is worth it since you dont reap the rewards

Pros

Suffolk has a great culture. Employees are friendly, knowledgeable and caring. Management is genuinely concerned about their employees, their development, and their personal lives. Management is also open to constructive feedback, and (to some degree) willing to adapt (or at least listen). It would take a lot for me to want to leave this company.

Cons

My only complaint is the working remotely possibilities are very limited. From someone that spends 98% of their time working independently and in front of a computer, it is perplexing as to why there are not more options to work remotely. There is an "up to 20%" policy in place, however, it is up to your direct manager, and it is often not allowed.
