Fun workplace, solid leadership, but stalled growth

Pros

Open office culture, flexible hours, lots of perks (stocked fridge, company activities and outings). Weekly all-hands meetings kept the company on-track and transparent about inter-department activities, feature/product roadmaps, etc.

Cons

The space (cloud-based storage) is croweded, and the flow of the product leaves a lot to be desired. There's also a lack of knowledge in general about syncing which leads to a lot of customer frustrations. Sync also is not very reliable (lots of sync/file conflicts)

Dishonest and incompetent senior management.

Pros

Good technology, hard-working staff, generally fair compensation.

Cons

In the wake of CEO Laura Yecies' departure, executive management misrepresented both their goals and the stability of the company, and promoted several individuals with very little experience into senior management roles. Crowded market space, frequently-changing revenue model, and managements' abject failure to personify the company culture they otherwise trumpet also inspire zero confidence in their ability to sustain the business.

Pros

New management is taking the company in the right direction and knows what it takes to make the company successful. Well planned and level-headed approach to growth. Great coworkers who are positive and happy to help wherever needed. Lots of room for new ideas. Very transparent upper management and low on politics/negativity. Good food/fully stocked kitchen, small gym in building next door. Very intelligent people who are excited about what they do, and challenging work with interesting projects. Fun company activities every few weeks. Good work life balance.

Cons

We used to have too many meetings (hard to get work done), but the company as a whole is working on this and it has gotten much, much better. Coffee doesn't taste that great
