Great place to grow

Pros

Work hard play hard mentality - if you put in the work you will definitely reap the benefits and feel rewarded for all of your efforts. Flexibility - they weren’t too strict about work from home prior to COVID which was a huge benefit to me, and now it seems like there may be a shift to a more hybrid model once we come out of the pandemic People - so far, everyone here is very caring and loves to watch younger people succeed in their careers. Team leads are strategic in your development and will take the time to help you find what you need to grow. Competitive pay and benefits - I feel like the total compensation package can’t be beat Overall, this company has been a pleasant experience in the couple of years that I’ve worked here and I don’t see it going downhill anytime soon.

Cons

Work life balance - although WFH has helped, there are times that I feel overwhelmed with the amount of work in a given week with pressing timelines that are hard to juggle at times Company communication - I feel like there are at times initiatives in the company that are brought up and get people excited, only to not get any follow up once the hype is over.

Pros

Resume booster and good benefits

Cons

This place is such a negative place to work. You have these regular status update meetings where you have to compete against your colleagues on a daily basis & it creates an incredibly stressful atmosphere. Workload multiplies every year because they are very good at adding steps to processes but never take any away. Makes it very impossible to meet the rapid turnaround times they expect. No autonomy, leadership makes all the decisions. Rewards people who are good at office politics, not good at their jobs. Passive aggressive bullying is rampant across the entire firm, don’t ever see it leaving. Training materials are scarce and do not get dispersed to those who need them.

Pros

Great firm for developing one's person brand, developing technical expertise with the best people in the field (really, its quite amazing). Privately held company, very competitive pay, top of market benefits (no cost health care and generous retirement and PTO), the best people you will ever work with. The culture is caring and family like, without being patriarchal.

Cons

Rapid growth has been a challenge when not enough staff are in place - while this creates loads of opportunity for some, the work can be very high volume when staffing levels are not where they should be.
