Pros
Become a contractor or a rockstar - you're going to be let go, it will come out of nowhere, it's cutthroat, etc....I worked with some underappreciated and authentically talented people. Improved my skillset and did great work.
Cons
No long term commitment to customers, products, or employees (or contractors). Lack of any meaningful leadership (mostly borrowed from greater people). Culture is 50% toxic "bro" / 50% fear. Work/life balance is generally poor unless you are pretty and hire a VA (secretly or on the company dime). So much wasted potential, but to be expected...
