Pros

- Everyone on the team is high-caliber - Results oriented work environment - Very laid back culture - Excellent work/life balance - Everyone's opinion is respected -Feels very cool to work on a product that is used by most of websites I visit on the internet. -Compensation is on the higher-end Coming from a Fortune 10 tech company, SumoMe is a great entry point into the startup world. The company is profitable and growing fast, the management are incredibly smart, and there is little politics in the office. In fact, most of the team hangs out together on the weekends which is cool for a new Austin resident like myself. It's a great place to work because everyone gets their work done on time yet knows how to have a good time. It feels good to have your opinion listened to on day one and the team moves very fast to respond to market demands and customer requests. Noah, Chad, and the rest of the management team are very smart and generous with their time and network. It takes a bit to be a "part of the team", but once you're in, they truly care about your success and growth - both inside and outside of the company. Been here over a year and very glad to have joined. One of the best companies I've ever worked for.

Cons

My one complaint is the interview/onboarding/trial period was longer than expected. I understand now it's how they keep the caliber of the team so high.

Pros

-fast paced, high energy -amazing culture -brilliant, driven people -easy to feel invested in the company's success

Cons

There's only one so far: growing pains. SumoMe is growing SO quickly that some of the things around the company don't grow as fast, like our office space. But this is to be expected for any company that has such an insane growth curve.

Pros

SumoMe is the BEST company I've ever worked for, bar none. You're working with the BEST of the best in their respective fields, on a product that truly matters, with a team and a company culture that is goal oriented, fun, and more like a family than an office. The leadership is supportive and fun, and encourages you to be the CEO of your own role. You are encouraged to do the work you truly love and you're free to experiment and see what works. The goals and direction of the company are totally transparent, and everyone is working toward the same goal, which adds cohesiveness and is very motivating. The team is still small enough that you can see the direct impact of your work on the company. It's also a ton of fun! We work hard and play hard - Sumo events, happy hour Fridays and fun days happen regularly and the office is an inviting place to hang out with the team.
