Pros

Great benefits, opportunities for advancement. There was a good team atmosphere and opportunity to give and receive feedback.

Cons

Decisions were made at the corporate level without discussion with onsite managers and employees. The salaries were low for the level of work, but that was because it was located in Lethbridge

Pros

Work from home facility (though there is no work) Cab Facility Free meal Good for people who are planning there retirement Hard to think of any work related pros

Cons

No quality work or rather no work at all. No work and training on latest technologies. Employee becomes lazy and loose there skill set here. Lots of politics and no transparency at all. If you show some interest in other project, you will not be heard at all. Favouritism exist at all levels. Level of politics is even higher in AOS department (support). Being an IT professional, work is definitely not meant for us. They should better hire diploma or bsc students. Apart from work compensation is not at all good, poor year end appraisals. I don't know why people said that its a good pay-master. What i found it used to be earlier but now company is hit by a huge financial crisis. About parties which other people claims, even that has seen a steep downfall graph. NOTE : NEVER EVER JOIN THIS COMPANY AS A FRESHER OR 1-3 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE, OTHERWISE YOU WILL OR THEY WILL RUIN YOUR CAREER.

Pros

Depending on the office that you are located, the morale of the office is very different. I was fortunately in Canada's top performing office. The office morale was always really high, great people to get advice from, management team was always there for support. Great stepping stone for those looking for careers in finance

Cons

Very challenging Expect you to go after your friends and family If you don't have an affluent network, or a network of people between ages 35-45, it is very difficult to hit targets. They seem to hire anyone at times because they want to get the points from head office. Some people should not have been hired. And I felt they were just used. Management has been told "recruit, recruit, recruit, fail at anything but recruiting" from head office
