Management is a Joke

Pros

Pay was decent Ability to work remote

Cons

To many people in managerial positions that have no clue as to what's going on. Like it's so bad it's difficult to convey to others. They have no respect for the people that work for them. I was harassed repeatedly by a former manager and when I finally went to HR with all the documentation to back my claims they just turned around and told my manager that I reported them. Even though I begged them not to because I was in fear of retaliation which is exactly what ended up happening.

Pros

The company prides itself on employee satisfaction. Work/life balance is crucial as well.

Cons

I feel like there is a lack of advancement opportunities. I have expressed to my leaders my dissatisfaction with my current role, and there are not a ton of opportunities for even a lateral move.

Pros

Remote work. Nothing else is good

Cons

Terrible company. Low pay. Below average benefits. Outdated tech. Trying to get anything from HR, like a paystub, will take multiple emails and phone calls and they just keep sending you back and forth between departments because no one wants to or knows how to do their jobs. They keep outsourcing labor to other countries as well so good luck with your IT issues. Leadership is full of fake people. All they care about is shoving diversity down your throat. Merit and experience mean nothing to them. If you check off a diversity box, or 2 or 3, you’ll get promoted. Leadership shows favoritism. Your hard work will constantly go unnoticed. They’ll just keep acquiring more companies that they don’t understand, underpay and overwork their employees, then fire anyone who doesn’t fall perfectly in line. Worst company ever.
