OK but very stale

Pros

Benefits are good, work life balance OK but could be much better. For example, you can only work from home if you have other appointments (postal delivery, Dr). Most companies these days allow their employees moor flexibility to work from home. Very structured environment but overregulated both externally (insurance) and internally (process).

Cons

Systems are very old and although they are looking to improve, it makes for very slow and costly projects. Career paths are also very limited. They like to say they are a global company but it's really all driven by their Ontario office.

Pros

Great benefits, generous vacation, onsite parking. Had some great managers over the years that allowed me the freedom to participate and learn skills that I wanted for myself. Flexible times to start work.

Cons

Not much of a career path as far as moving up. Some people in certain departments are not professional. Not easily accessible by public transportation.
