Pros

- sabbatical every 5 years is a great perk - 4 weeks of vacation for a large group of professionals - transparent compensation programs - encourages lateral movement for development - ability to work from home

Cons

- little resources and high expectations for output - high workload - hierarchical - hard to "move up" as they keep reducing roles and piling on to a few individuals

Pros

Supportive manager, great coworkers, high-performance culture, clear goals, great bonus incentives and pay increases. Occasional fun events on campus, ability to work from home if necessary, good work-life balance if you had the right support. Ability to find roles in other departments, great benefits and EAP resources, nice campus.

Cons

Overwhelming work load at times. Upper management doesn't always listen to the individuals and teams that are on the frontline working with the products and customers. The company's diversity and inclusion efforts are superficial with the exception of a few allies that really do put in work to enact change. Not every department got a pay increase. Every year, we would hear from the higher-ups how well the company was doing thanks to the work of the employees, but were simultaneously told that we had to work harder and expect cuts to staffing or other employee incentives due to strategic restructuring. Possible to find opportunities across the company, but not always a ton of opportunities to move up in your department.
