      It's an okay place to work, but the pay is way too LOW.

      Pros

      The work environment is great. There are a lot of opportunities for advancement, and the managers really care about the success of employees on their team.

      Cons

      The salaries offered at SunTrust are not competitive, especially considering the sensitivity of the information we are responsible for. You could make more money working in a retail or restaurant business. Even the cell phone companies T-mobile and Verizon pay more, and thats sad. There is a very high turnover rate because of the low salaries they offer.

      Pros

      In the micro (my unit) has good staff and good working relationship and environment.

      Cons

      Upper management changes the products and the focus on weekly bases in retail banking . We are assigned unrealistic goals and then threatened with disciplinary actions should we not meet those goals.
