Pros

The only pro was the rewards for reaching the highest level of success. At SunTrust, today, they call that attaining Platinum status. I attained that 2 years in a row.

Cons

They have gotten away from using the human capital talent and have smothered creativity to accomplish the SunTrust way. The company believes that the SunTrust process is the only method of success, and believes that even if your successful at the highest level; success is promoted only if it is done their way. I was at the highest level of reward 2 years in a role, yet the success was met with "it wasn't done the SunTrust way". Finally, SunTrust does not support

Pros

Great hours, great branch location. Nice manager at my location. Branch manager tires to make it a pleasant place to work.

Cons

They pay bankers the same as tellers. Sales pressure everyday. salary is almost poverty level. Most non-management employees work 2 jobs to make ends meet.
