      Pros

      Company is great at landing big interesting projects with the potential to make money. Proper attention given to safety and workplace hygiene. College recruitment brings in many young Civil Engineers with high potential. ESOP!

      Cons

      To many mid-level managers from outside company brought in with little understanding how to build the work and lack interest/knowledge to train young engineers how to plan work and manage operations. Company is in stone ages with respect to use of machine control can't even simply copy what Kiewit does. To reliant on Joint Ventures for earnings.

      Very fair with compensation, Company Truck..Employee Owned....Health Benefits etc

      Cons

      Was fired for missing 4 days even after a ER Visit where I was told 80% chance Prostate Cancer....They need to get rid of the snot nosed kids of upper mgt who dont know anything about construction, mess with equipment they know nothing about and take coworkers truck for a drive at jobsite only to drive into a hole and damaging the truck..then puts the blame on guy responsible for truck...MAYBE YOU SHOULD GET A JOB AT HOME DEPOT....(from the wife of a real man and a true Superintendent)
