I had a positive experience until our general manager left and in the interim his position was overseen by a corporate higher up who informed me religious individuals were allowed to advertise how wrong homosexuality is and "that rainbows belong to God because it was his promise to the earth that he would never again drown everyone becausThis discussion happened in front of the head of HR and absolutely nothing was addressed for several minutes, so I excused myself from the discussion and employment there as it was made clear my safety was not a priority when there was open hostility towards me. Management also has huge issues with people being sick or not wanting to drive on a closed interstate in a blizzard. They often talked negatively about plant employees, very rarely willing to work on solutions with you and you were treated poorly for using PTO you were enrolled to by the benefit package. Leadership expects plant employees to show up on weekends but take turns going in as supervisors. Absolutely no empathy from management, while I was there, an employee had to be out for an emergency surgery and the leads and managers started openly that the gal was faking needing /having surgery... Very toxic "hustle" mentality. They employ a large demographic of immigrants but then complain about language barriers and "not being able to understand their accent"and are very rude to temps.
