Pros

- Better than average benefits but no where near those provided by top tier companies. - Competitive product line. - Strong leadership at the executive level. - Job security.

Cons

- If you don't speak Chinese you most likely wouldn't feel welcomed here, unless you're Caucasian. - Work environment can get very uncomfortable. - Asian overtime working culture. - No clear path of career advancement: it's basically based on favoritism, not how good you are at your job. - Family owned business: not necessarily a bad thing until the executive family member(s) screwed up. - It is very easy to feel unappreciated around here. The company doesn't treat its employees as valuable assets but instead we're pawns to do masters' bidding. - Drama among team leaders: CEO encourages competition between teams, but some team leaders took it too literally. Team members have zero chance of switching teams as some team leaders look at it as "losing territory" or "losing face". Limiting team members' career growth potential. - Stone Age grade document control. - Tons of meaningless meetings. - Lots of managers who don't seem to have a clue of what they ought to be doing. - Can't seem to keep young talents. Talented young prospects bolt out at the first light they see.
