The company runs on a decentralized model. Your job will be impossible depending which department you work for. Nothing is standardized, each regional department does things differently from the rest, and communication is non-existent between regions. You will most likely feel overworked and under compensated after a while.
Growth opportunities are there, although, don’t expect any promises if you’re not one of management’s “favorites”.
The company is undergoing a revamp with all new upper and middle management. Don’t get too comfy…
Be weary of joining the IT department. If you do, there’s a reason you’re going to be just a contractor. The new CIO has single handedly crumbled the department with their condensing and demoralizing demeanor.
Don’t hold your breath on compensation promises and promotions. You will be pacified until you realize you’re just being manipulated.
Exit interviews aren’t offered, even for tenured employees leaving on great terms.
