Surescripts, since its beginnings, have always reached for the stars. It has been a pleasure continuing to work for an organization that strives to make a positive impact in healthcare and empowers their employees to be influencers. I have carried this feeling since I first started on their Customer Support team, a few months removed from completing my Bachelor's. And I have not looked back. I encourage anyone passionate about changing our very problematic healthcare system, and has an interest in how technology can improve it, to apply.
Cons
My only con - with purpose driven companies (vs. profit driven, which Surescripts is NOT) sometimes reaching for the stars means not all initiatives can be accomplished. I had to learn early in my career to not let this deter me or lose morale. Start a new plan and work to accomplish that.
- Never a dull moment - Always something new to learn.
- Exposure to a wide range of areas of expertise.
- Great culture company wide. Strong sense of work/life balance.
- Competitive pay & benefits
- Opportunities for growth
- Strong position in the Health Technology industry
Cons
- Can be a bit siloed across departments
- Must be a quick & independent learner (not a con but a forewarning)
