Pros

Hourly pay is somewhat better than most, according to the job duties. Ability to swap with others for shift trades (for those willing). Ability to participate in 401K upon hire date. Co-workers are nice and helpful.

Cons

* Very poor Training, for the requirements of the job * Once hired, little to know communication from your immediate supervisor if you are a WAH employee. * Unfair surprise- as it relates to performance expectations. For example, we are required to handle a certain amount of calls daily, transfer within a certain rate, AHT metrics, NONE of this was disclosed up front or before you go into production. It is done after you sat in the job for 2 months, given a coaching document to sign, then told what you've done wrong. *Day off request must be emailed to your manager, if your manager does not turn in your forms, then Operations can't approve or decision them. In my case, I submitted 3-4 weeks in advance of a date, kept sending emails, asking about it, never recieved a response, finally emailed one of the employee's in Operations and was told she never received reciept of my requests. *The calls are nothing like what you hear in Training. *Often times the intranet systems used internally to help you troubleshoot are too dense, or information is not easily found, it's almost like finding information in a maze or something.
