Good hours and lots of raffles to help various organizations.

Cons

Not much opportunity to move forward in a different department. It seems they prefer to hire from the outside.

Sutherland encourages its managers and supervisors to highlight those achieving greatness on the floor. On a more public note, our sourcing department runs a blog in which a “Platinum Performer” column is written weekly. (Find the link to the blog below) Recently, Sutherland Global has implemented Extra Mile, an employee recognition program. Anyone employed at Sutherland can be recognized and/or awarded points by anyone else in the company. This program has taken off, and many have been using it to spread their appreciation! As stated before, Sutherland strongly believes in promoting from within. We are constantly posting positions on our internal job board, and employees are encouraged to apply. LEAD programs are also available to those interested in advancing their careers within the company. I like the working enviroment, some people were not what i expected but over all it was a good experience

Some of the challenges were dealing with different personalities, moods at time of calls

From our training staff to our methods, employees will enter the floor knowing how to get the job done. It’s nice to see you were positively influenced by the staff around you. Working in a customer oriented role is challenging, but it seems customer contact is a part of life in the working world.
