Pros

They are continuously hiring new employees for their sub-programs (BlackBerry, AT&T, H&R Block etc.) You are garunteed full-time hours and occasional O.T Employees that are not serious about their jobs are fired in due time. You may think management doesn't pay attention, sometimes employees don't notice until its too late and their getting the BOOT. If you are competent and maintain a positive attitude and great work skills, management will be understanding of any situations that may arise (time off, family issues etc.)

Cons

Because Sutherland hires in Waves, some employees are not as devoted to their jobs or may bring excess drama to the workplace- makes for a low work morale and affects the work environment.

Pros

Easy to get in. The turn over rate at this company is so high they might as well install revolving doors instead of the current ones.

Cons

Far too many to name, but I'll try. I'm a former employee so sorry if I come off a bit disgruntled. Firstly the pay is barely enough to pay for gas to make it to in to work. Unless you work late nights (which was one of the shifts I worked) finding parking is just out of the question. There is no advancement or chance to move up in the ranks, this coming from some who work there for 3 years doing the same job. Seems like the people who are good on the phones are forced to stay on the phones, and the ones who where able to get buddy buddy with managers and higher up were moving up in a matter of months. Favoritism always won over who was more qualified. Managers themselves did everything they could to avoid taking sup calls. If the poor management wasn't enough to set one off, the manditory overtime and forced 30 min lunchtime per 9 hour shift. There's more to go on about, but I'm getting angry thinking about something not worth it. Bottom line is sutherland doesn't care about there employees. I worked in the same department for close to 4 years, my job performance was great, then due to circumstances out of my control I was late to work for less than a month and was let go. Hmm... Interesting that should happen after a bunch of new hires and a raise right around the corner.
