Pros
Friendly work atmosphere, helpful colleagues, organization seems genuinely concerned about helping others, recognizes individual contributions. People in my unit are given the control to get their work done as they see fit (I'm in a non-medical position). They are flexible in allowing employees to adjust their schedules if circumstances call for it as long as they get their work done.
Cons
Sometimes slow to financially reward top performers, they have reduced some benefits in recent years, feels as if management could do a better job of holding everyone to the same standards. Seems as if high-performers are expected to do more while less enthusiastic and productive colleagues are allowed to coast.
