      Pros

      The benefits are good - health, dental, vision. I've worked with some really great people and there is room for advancement.

      Cons

      With any large matrixed organization, it is sometimes difficult to get past the bureaucracy, processes; sometimes too much structure is cumbersome.

      Pros

      From my experience, Sutter Health is moving to reinvent health care given challenges associated with reform and pressure to keep prices down. Great place for compassionate and creative people who like working together to improve patient care. Fully-funded pension, competitive pay and great opportunities to contribute.

      Cons

      Downside is same for any health care organization. It's going to be a bumpy ride for a few years as the industry copes with doing more for less money under reform. Jobs will change; some will disappear as technology improves care and efficiency.
