      Pay, pay, pay, pay, pay

      Cons

      The unit is completely dosorganized. The fish rots from the head as management is chasing pointless metrics, especially charting, over patient care. And patient care suffers greatly. Nurses are encouraged not to think ir speak up and management is there only to come down on you, not to help. One of the worst ICU’s ive worked at. Always short staffed.

      Some units have uneducated and untrained managers that lack interpersonal skills. They act with bias, provide no support, and demean employees.
