Pros

Sutter has some amazing physicians that are great to work with. The new CEO is energizing and brings lots of excitement to those that have been around a long time.

Cons

Lots of reorgnaization and placing internal people in leadership when they are clearly not the right fit. Fear of retaliation. Health benefits could be better to compete with other hospital systems - lots of out of pocket copays and expenses.

Pros

Competitive pay in relation to Bay Area hospitals.

Cons

High turnover for management and employees. Remaining staff depicts toxic behaviors that thrives due to non-existent management, lack of accountability, and coworkers enabling harassment and verbal misconduct for personal entertainment. Employees feel undervalued and the culture is marked by poor communication, distrust, and constant stress, which leads to disengagement and burnout.
