Pros

Managers have a open door policy, easily accessible. Competitive wages. Very connected with the community.

Cons

Management can treat new employees harshly. Much money wasted on Lean projects. Losing good Hospitalist to other organizations due to lack of support from their director.

Pros

Per diem employees get a 25% differential in pay in exchange for no benefits, but can still use the 403B retirement fund. Training was excellent and I have felt supported by my peers and leadership while learning the job.

Cons

Only 8 hour shifts are available for inpatient case managers but the workload can be impossible leaving the next day's staff with leftover work.

Pros

Nice office. Some very lovely and competent individual staff members.

Cons

very little support from managers. high turnover rate of both rn managers and field staff. Every body, in every level of employment, is stressed out to the max. Case load is unreasonably high.
