      Pros

      My co-workers are lovely and there is great team work on our unit; interactions are pleasant with fellow nurses, Hospitalist, Surgeons, PT, RT, Case Managers, Environmental services, dietary, lab, transport, security etc. My manager is warm, kind, fair and approachable. In general it's a friendly, positive atmosphere to work in.

      Cons

      I don't feel the grass is greener at other hospitals.

      Pros

      I've worked at 15 hospitals in 3 different states (travel nurse for 4 years) and Sutter Roseville is one of the better places I've worked. The most important factor in a good working environment, in my experience, is the middle managements ability to run the department efficiently and with the least hardship on its staff nurses and other staff. And Sutter Roseville has management that is effective, reasonable, but at the same time takes the front line workers input into account. The company's culture and day-to-day processes are evidenced based yet not oppressive or productivity killing.

      Just the typical negative nancy's complaining, back stabbing and sabotage that exists at every hospital that I've worked at.
